As a Senior Waste Water Process Engineer, you'll play a key role in process engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of process engineering within the water industry, including wastewater and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. We deliver industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility to process commissioning, adding value through client-side support. Your Purpose
- Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
- Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Understanding of integrated wastewater and bioresources treatment processes.
- Experience with main process unit operations: primary, secondary, tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment, odour, and energy management.
- Knowledge of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), cost assessments, life cycle carbon assessments, and UK environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with process modelling software, e.g., BioWin, SUMO.
