RSD Recruitment are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Senior Water Hygiene Engineer. This is a permanent, full-time role, with most work based in the South of England and regular travel into London. The role involves carrying out a range of water hygiene services in line with legislation, while also supporting and mentoring junior engineers. It is a hands-on position with the opportunity to move into supervisory or management roles. Key Responsibilities Water sampling, temperature monitoring, and TMV servicing Cleaning and disinfection of cold-water storage tanks and calorifiers Showerhead cleaning and descaling Closed system testing and dosing Implementing Legionella risk control measures Leading and mentoring junior engineers, providing training where required Overseeing site works, ensuring compliance with RAMS, H&S procedures, and company standards Acting as the point of contact for clients on-site, providing technical advice and resolving issues Completing service reports, logbooks, and compliance documentation Assisting with planning and scheduling works to maximise efficiency Supporting management with audits, data review, and remedial actions Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in water hygiene / water treatment Strong knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and water safety compliance Experience leading teams or mentoring junior engineers Full UK driving licence (essential) Good written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to travel, particularly within the M25 and London Benefits Competitive salary (DOE) Company vehicle, fuel card, and expenses covered 22 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Ongoing training and development Opportunities to progress into supervisory/management roles Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company car Company pension
