Our client Scottish Power Renewables are seeking a Senior WTG Engineer for an urgent role initially up until 31/12/2026

Main Purpose of the Job

The Senior wind turbine Engineer is a key role within the Offshore Renewables Business, focussing on the delivery of large-scale offshore wind projects in the UK, Europe and overseas. Belonging to the East Anglia 2 (EA2) WTG Package and reporting to the WTG Technical Manager (Lead WTG Engineer), the candidate will be responsible for implementing robust and cost effective engineering strategies and plans, , negotiating and managing offshore supply, coordinate internal and external design interfaces, , and complying with company and business engineering standards and technical acceptance criteria, and ensuring quality, best practices and excellent H&SE performance are applied. The role will also provide technical support on commercial topics. The candidate will be managing engineering activities and decisions across the offshore business. The position may require frequent travel to various locations in the UK and overseas and the individual should be capable of managing teams working at different project locations. The candidate should be based in the UK so they are available to attend the London or Glasgow office on a weekly basis, as required.
