Senior/Principal Bridge Engineer – Manchester

Location: Manchester, UK

Salary: £55,000 – £64,000

Our client has a very exciting opportunity for somebody to build their own team!

They have a strong pipeline of work and access to significantly more, but need somebody who is keen and ambitious to grow their own bridge engineering team in their Manchester office. This is a great opportunity for somebody who wants to take on more responsibility and play a key role in business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural designs for civil infrastructure projects
• Apply advanced modelling tools (e.g. LUSAS, STAAD Pro)
• Manage client relationships, budgets, and project delivery
• Mentor junior staff and support chartership development
• Contribute to business development and bid writing

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with more than 7+ years’ experience
• Strong technical background in structural analysis
• Confident communicator and proactive problem-solver
• Experience of managing and mentoring graduates and technicians
