What you'll be doing
\n
\n Designing structural solutions in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry using current design codes. \n
Managing your own workload, sometimes solo on smaller projects, sometimes leading teams on larger schemes. \n
Liaising with architects, contractors, and clients to make sure what's designed actually works in practice. \n
Mentoring junior engineers and helping raise the technical bar across the team. \n
Supporting proposals, tenders, and the commercial side of project delivery. \n

What you'll need
\n
\n Around 5-7+ years' experience in a structural design consultancy. \n
Strong grasp of British Standards / Eurocodes and hands-on experience with Tekla, CADS, and Tedds (AutoCAD a plus). \n
Chartered or close to it (IStructE or ICE). \n
A proactive mindset, confident collaborating, problem-solving, and getting things done. \n
A valid driving licence for occasional site visits. \n
