Job Title: Service Delivery Engineer

Location: Slowhill Copse (Hampshire) - Hybrid working with site visits.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: Up to £42,500 based on skills & experience, plus company van.

As a Service Delivery Engineer it will be your job to ensure that contractors are safely delivering the required assets on time, to the required Southern Water standard and within budget, whilst also making sure that the work meets regulatory and statutory requirements and maximising the benefits to Southern Water.

 

Working within a team to provide support to other functions within Southern Water, you will be required to maintain all hired assets within the Wastewater  function to minimise the risks of failure and to comply with regulations.

 

We are ideally looking for an experienced Delivery Engineer with a background in managing contracts against time/cost /quality or Project Management to join the Wastewater team on a full-time basis. This role has a focus on someone with previous experience of working with contractors and has a previous Wastewater experience.

 

As a Delivery Engineer you will need to have a clear understanding of the roles within the team and working co-operatively with other teams to achieve business aims, as well as being confident in communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

 

The nature of this work will be ideally suited to someone with previous experience of dealing with contractors, has ability to multitask, who has strong critical thinking and the ability to provide resolutions. You will be solutions focussed with excellent knowledge of maintaining all assets within the Asset Maintenance function to minimise risks and adhere to Compliance

 

You will be working within a team to provide support to other functions across the business with the responsibility to maintain all projects in accordance with health and safety regulations, environment and quality standards, whilst ensuring the contractors comply with our in-house expected standards and behaviours.

 

We are particularly keen to hear from people who understand Wastewater processes and the importance of continuingly having the assets in good working order.
