Roles & Responsibilities - Key tasks
Work as a field-based engineer across the UK with occasional international travel. Service, maintain, and repair Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and lightweight CNC machines used across various industries. Operate across multiple sectors including automotive and aerospace. Calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards. Compile and record detailed measurement data to support customer quality and inspection needs. Support customers with troubleshooting, fault-finding, and issue resolution. Occasionally work away from home due to the mobile nature of the role. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer care is paramount. Communicate with stakeholders on any potential impacts for the business Uphold the company quality strategy and processes, including recommendations and operational improvements to improve quality & service.
