Overview

Position – Service Engineer - HVAC and Heat Pumps up to/over +£40k base salary + bonus

Company – Large M&E provider with a team of AC and Heat Pump service engineers

Location – Northampton or Milton Keynes (regional mobile or static project available)

Industry – Commercial HVAC / Air conditioning / AC / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Heat Pumps, ASHP, Air Source Heat Pumps, VRF / VRV, Chillers

Responsibilities

• Focus on emergency fault finding and fix call outs on commercial HVAC VRF / VRV air conditioning and Domestic Air Source Heat Pump systems
• Work with the Midlands team to service contracts and resolve faults quickly and effectively
• Leverage knowledge of top air conditioning and heat pump manufacturers to diagnose and repair systems

Requirements / Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience servicing HVAC and ideally heat pump systems
• Strong fault finding and repair capability
• F Gas, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications and manufacturer training would be an advantage
• Great teamwork and communication skills for client-facing work and regional team cooperation
• Whether with Level 2 or Level 3 HVAC and Heat Pump certifications, or on-the-tools experience from apprenticeship, applications are welcome
• Other certifications of interest: G3 unvented, plumbing, electrical, heating and ventilation

Package

Initial package up to and in excess of +£40,000 plus a bonus for 37 hours per week, door to door, with optional overtime and weekends if desired.

A company van or van allowance will be provided along with a high pension contribution, private healthcare and dental. There are up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays. Overtime and weekend work is flexible depending on your needs.
