OverviewMy Client is seeking a Field Service Engineer from an Electrical / Electronic background responsible for Commissioning, Repair and Service on UPS systems. The package includes a negotiable base salary up to £50K, plus £60K-£65K OTE in the first year, pension, company car/van, phone, laptop, and related benefits. Location: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Central Belt. Job Title: Service Engineer Power Systems.Area / Location: Glasgow - Edinburgh Central Belt.ResponsibilitiesProvide commissioning, maintenance and repair service on industrial UPS, charger and related equipment supplied or maintained by the client.Work primarily UK-based in field-based roles across onshore/offshore Oil & Gas facilities and Nuclear locations; some travel away from home is expected.QualificationsMinimum 2 years experience as a Service Engineer.Experience in Electrical/Electronic industry or similar.HNC / HND in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.Clean Driving License.Excellent written and verbal communications; strong organizational and time management skills; self-motivated with ability to operate with minimal supervision.IT literate; laptop usage for interfacing with company products and completing service reports and timesheets.Experience working on industrial sites (Power Stations, Oil & Gas locations, Nuclear facilities etc) would be an advantage.Employment detailsEmployment type: Full-timeSeniority level: Entry levelIndustries: Repair and MaintenanceNote: Some boilerplate location/time references and non-essential postings were removed to focus on core responsibilities and requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
