Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our clients—from sole traders to Blue Chip companies—receive unparalleled technical service for their labelling machinery.\n\nYour key duties will include:\n\nInstalling, configuring, and commissioning labelling systems at customer sites across the UK.\nConducting advanced diagnostic fault-finding and carrying out effective on-site repairs.\nPerforming preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.\nDelivering comprehensive hands-on training to customers on system operation and maintenance.\nPreparing clear and detailed service reports with recommendations.\nCollaborating with the internal team on spare parts and warranty processes.\nEnsuring all work is completed to the highest quality, health, and safety standards. \n\n Salary Package:\n\nCompetitive Annual Salary £40,000-£50,000\nCompany Car\nAllowances and Bonus \n\n Essential Experience & Skills:\n\nA minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a field service, product support, or technical maintenance role.\nA strong bias towards either mechanical or electrical engineering, with a solid basic understanding of both disciplines.\nProven experience in fault-finding on machinery; ideally within packaging, automation, labelling, or a similar industrial sector.\nA relevant engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3) or equivalent demonstrable experience.\nA full, clean UK driving licence \n\n If you’re a skilled Service Engineer with 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with a strong bias towards either mechanical or electrical engineering, with a solid basic understanding of both disciplines, looking for a new opportunity on a permanent basis to join a leading manufacturer then please apply now
