About the Position:
This position is part of our European Service Team, a dynamic and collaborative group of engineers dedicated to supporting our customers with installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of our advanced testing systems. The team works closely with our global engineering and technical support departments, ensuring high-quality service and continuous improvement.
Our Service & Support Department plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and system reliability. It provides:
On-site and remote technical support
Preventive and corrective maintenance
System upgrades and retrofits
Training and documentation
Calibration and certification services
The department supports a wide range of equipment, including servo-hydraulic and servo-electric actuators, brake testing systems, powertrain test beds, and environmental chambers. Our engineers are problem-solvers who work directly with customers to deliver tailored solutions and ensure optimal performance of our systems.
About the Role:
A talented service technician/engineer is needed who is responsible for installing and maintaining machines (brake test equipment) on-site for customers.
Responsibilities:
Independent commissioning, maintenance, and calibration of brake tests and other test bench systems Fault analyses and repairs of all LINK systems and devices Writing procedures and work instructions Create new reporting methods for calibrations Create and fulfill customer requirements Troubleshooting and repair of instrumentation
Qualifications:
Technician/master craftsman, engineering degree specializing in electrical engineering/mechatronics/mechanical engineering; Experience in calibration (Decelerometer, Accelerometer, Vmax Data Logger, Humidity sensors) Previous experience in a similar position, knowledge in the field of brakes Knowledge of MS Office Strong customer-oriented attitude
Soft Skills
Customer and service-orientated appearance and corresponding work attitude; High level of stress resistance; Strong willingness to cooperate and ability to work in a team; Willingness to travel (70%), mainly Europe
