Our client a leading manufacturing business working within the power distribution sector is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Service Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer to play a key role in the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of power distribution systems and equipment.

Working on customer sites across the region you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of LV/HV equipment, switchgear, transformers, and associated control systems. This is a field-based role that would suit someone with a background in electrical service engineering, particularly within power, utilities, or industrial environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Carry out installation, maintenance, servicing, and testing of low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) distribution equipment.

Perform routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on switchgear, protection systems, control panels and generators.

Support the commissioning of new systems, working alongside project managers and technical teams to bring systems online safely and efficiently.

Diagnose and repair faults in electrical distribution equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Work to strict health & safety protocols, including preparing and following risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
