Youll diagnose and fix faults, carry out preventive maintenance, and ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely. oull be joining a well-established engineering company based in Manchester, specialising in the hire, sales, and servicing of hydraulic equipment and excavator attachments . With decades of industry experience, the business has built a strong reputation for technical expertise, reliability, and first-class customer support across the construction and civil engineering sectors. What Youll Do: Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment faults and breakdowns Carry out maintenance, repairs, and overhauls Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance Provide technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues Maintain accurate service reports and documentation Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards Liaise with customers and internal teams to plan and prioritise work What Youll Bring: Proven experience in a service, maintenance, or engineering role Strong diagnostic and technical skills Practical knowledge of mechanical or hydraulic systems (advantageous) Relevant technical or engineering qualifications (preferred) Great communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage your workload Experience in the hydraulic attachment industry (beneficial) Whats on Offer: Pay: From £14.50 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: MondayFriday between 07:3017:30 Saturdays: 07:3012:00 on a rota basis Overtime opportunities available Supportive and friendly working environment Career development and technical training opportunities If youre a proactive engineer who takes pride in quality work and problem-solving, wed love to hear from you!
