Service Engineer - Job Overview Servicing, maintaining & repairing pumps, generators and Diesel-powered equipment, both in house and at customer sites Preparing and inspecting equipment at the depot prior to hire Carrying out overhauls and refurbishments on end-of-life machinery Diagnosing faults and repairing machinery to prevent downtime Collaborating with the Service team, Hire Controller and Foreman to work as effectively as possible Covering Engineering works across Devon Service Engineer - Job Requirements Previous experience in the service, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment Previous experience working with Plant Equipment, Pumps, Generators and / or Diesel Engines Good working knowledge of EHSQ practices Qualified in an Engineering / Mechanical & Electrical discipline to NVQ Level 3
