Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a passionate Service and Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic Finning Power Rental team. In this exciting role, you will work on a diverse range of electric power projects across the UK and Ireland, ensuring our rental equipment is always in top-notch condition for our valued customers.

Position Overview:

As a key player in our team, you will:

• Set up rental solutions and maintain equipment including generators, load-banks, transformers, and more.
• Support our customers with prime, backup, and emergency power solutions.

What You'll Do:

Major Job Functions:

• Inspect, service, and maintain rental equipment according to maintenance schedules.
• Document inspections and prepare equipment for rental using the CAT inspection application.
• Set up rental equipment based on customer requirements and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely.
• Lead site installations, including the commissioning and decommissioning of rental solutions.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electronic) or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the rental energy sector or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical issues.
• Full driving license held for at least 2 years.
