Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a passionate Service and Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic Finning Power Rental team. In this exciting role, you will work on a diverse range of electric power projects across the UK and Ireland, ensuring our rental equipment is always in top-notch condition for our valued customers.
Position Overview:
As a key player in our team, you will:
- Set up rental solutions and maintain equipment including generators, load-banks, transformers, and more.
- Support our customers with prime, backup, and emergency power solutions.
What You'll Do:
Major Job Functions:
- Inspect, service, and maintain rental equipment according to maintenance schedules.
- Document inspections and prepare equipment for rental using the CAT inspection application.
- Set up rental equipment based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely.
- Lead site installations, including the commissioning and decommissioning of rental solutions.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electronic) or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in the rental energy sector or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical issues.
- Full driving license held for at least 2 years.
