Are you ready to take your career to the next level? At Finning (UK) Ltd , we are looking for a passionate and skilled Service and Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic Power Rental team. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch electric power solutions across the UK and Ireland, ensuring our rental equipment is always in peak condition for our valued customers.

Your Responsibilities
- Inspect, Service, and Maintain: Ensure our rental equipment is in top shape according to maintenance schedules.
- Ready to Rent: Complete inspections and document data using the CAT inspection application.
- Setup Equipment: Configure rental equipment based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot: Quickly resolve technical issues to keep operations running smoothly.
- Logistics Support: Assist with the preparation and execution of equipment logistics.
- Site Installation: Lead the installation and commissioning of rental solutions, including generator synchronization.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all safety policies and conduct risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electronic) or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years in the rental energy sector or a similar role, with hands-on field experience.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to mentor and direct teams.
- Knowledge: Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a 24/7 business environment.
Working Conditions
This is a field-based role , and it’s essential that all drivers have held a full driving license for at least 2 years. Eligibility will be subject to a full DVLA license check.
