You'll be pivotal in delivering high-quality service and technical expertise, while also contributing to the development and growth of junior engineers. Your role will be customer-facing, ensuring excellent relationships and the highest standards of service delivery.Basic Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 DOEOvertime, Travel Time & Call-outCompany VanPension, Life Assurance & much more. - Please see our generous remuneration packages belowKey ResponsibilitiesCommissioning & Testing: Plan, commission, and test new installations, upgrades, and modifications to existing BEMS systemsCustomer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service and technical adviceFault Diagnosis & Problem Solving: Use your expertise to identify and rectify complex system faults across control panels, field wiring, electrical control panels, and BMS controllersProject Delivery: Ensure all projects are delivered successfully on time and to specification, always aiming to exceed customer expectationsMentoring: Support and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them develop their skillsQuality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards and ensure all work meets compliance and regulatory requirementsRequirementsWho We're Looking ForMinimum of 5 years' experience as a BEMS Controls Engineer, with a strong engineering backgroundSolid experience with TREND hardware, networks, and/or Tridium control platformsC&G Level 2 or equivalent electrical qualificationsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsSolid mechanical plant knowledgeA proactive and self-motivated individual who can work independently and manage time effectivelyFull clean driving license and an interest in energy managementStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence at all levelsA flexible "can-do" attitude, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlinesAbility to mentor junior staff members and apprenticesDesirableTridium N4 CertificationTrend Expert Status (current or prior)Experience with Siemens X Works and Desigo InsightKnowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standardsBenefitsHow we Attract, Reward & Retain Our EmployeesAt Alarm Communications, we understand the value of fairly compensating our employees.
