Our Wastewater team is growing, and were excited to welcome a talented Sewerage Adoption Engineer (Wastewater Design Engineer) to play a key role in supporting our future development. As a Sewerage Adoption Engineer (Wastewater Design Engineer), youll oversee the adoption of new sewerage systems, sewer diversions, and pre-planning enquiries, providing technical assessments at every stage of the process. Acting as the main point of contact for developer applications, youll take ownership of a geographical portfolio, ensuring company assets are protected and adoption processes run smoothly. Provide technicalsupport and guidance to developers, consultants, internal teams, and business development colleagues on design adoptability and sewerage infrastructure. Contribute to continuous improvement by helping to review and develop internal technical systems, processes, and design controls. Support adoption and commissioning by advising testing teams, tracking performance metrics, and producing relevant performance and compliance reports. Develop resources and tools, such as guidance documents, S104 checklists, and input for GIS mapping systems and design variation processes. Experience / Knowledge: Strong experience of sewerage design in a developer, consultancy or water company role Detailed knowledge andunderstanding Ofwats Code for Adoption and in particular the Design and Construction Guidance for foul and surface water sewers Good knowledge of utilities marketplace and water company adoption policies and procedures Qualifications Engineering Degree or equivalent experience Chartered Engineer Status preferable Have you got the drive to go to the Last Mile as a Sewerage Adoption Engineer (Wastewater Design Engineer)?
