Shift Engineer – Electrical Bias

Salary: £48,000–£52,000 DOE + benefits

Location: North West (commutable from Liverpool, Wigan, Warrington and surrounding areas)

About the Role

As part of the shift team, you’ll work a 4-on, 6-off rotation (2 days, 2 nights), playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly and safely. The Shift Engineer is a hands-on role, fully integrated with operations, where you’ll be expected to tackle electrical issues quickly and effectively while driving long-term reliability and efficiency across the site.

What You’ll Be Doing

Ensure all machinery safety systems are functional and actively promote safe working practices. Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime. Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineers to resolve failures and improve equipment reliability. Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
