Shift Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced and
motivated Shift Engineer to join our team at The
Stafford London Hotel. 



The
Shift Engineer is responsible for addressing and resolving maintenance issues,
conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring guest comfort and safety,
adhering to health and safety procedures.

About the role, what will I be doing?



·      
Perform regular inspections, carry
out preventive maintenance, and repairs in and around the Property as well as
on equipment, and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.



·      
Respond promptly to guest requests
for maintenance or repairs in guest rooms, common areas, and meeting spaces.



·      
Investigate equipment failures to
determine root causes and implement corrective actions.



·      
Ensure compliance with safety
regulations and guidelines and take appropriate measures to address safety
hazards in the workplace.



·      
Collaborate with various departments
to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.



·      
Strong problem-solving skills to
address complex maintenance issues.





Who are we looking for?




  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, and general building
    maintenance

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel working
    with a PMS (Opera) system is essential

  • Highly organized, multitasking individual with a positive attitude
    & a team player

  • Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure the best
    business results
