Shift Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hixon, Stafford

Salary: £18 - £19 per hour

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise, lead, and assist a team of maintenance operatives during the shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence in maintenance practices within the shift team. Implement the maintenance strategy developed by the Maintenance/Engineering Manager to ensure the reliability and functionality of critical machinery and equipment during operations. Coordinate closely with other departments to plan maintenance activities, minimize disruptions, and optimize production efficiency during shifts. Manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies during the shift and initiate reordering of maintenance supplies as necessary. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulations related to maintenance activities during operations. Oversee the usage and management of fuels, lubricants, and other fluids during operations, implementing cost-effective strategies.
