OverviewSignalling Project Engineer – UK-wide (site-based with some office work). Full-time | Permanent. Competitive Salary + Benefits.Our client is seeking a motivated Signalling Project Engineer to support engineering delivery on a variety of rail signalling projects. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role offers great exposure to both design and site activities, including opportunities to be involved trackside during commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the engineering lead and take ownership of smaller engineering work packagesPrepare for and contribute to interdisciplinary design reviewsDevelop Engineering Management Plans and contribute to risk assessmentsWrite technical reports and manage materials listsLiaise effectively with client engineers and resolve engineering issues on site and with design teamsAssist in preparation of estimates and tender documentsCreate and manage trackers and registers for engineering deliverablesProduce and collate O&M manuals and Health & Safety filesSupport design, testing, construction, and project management activitiesOpportunity to undertake Assistant Testing duties trackside during commissioning phasesWhat You'll BringHNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent technical qualification (preferably electrical or electronic)Holds one or more IRSE Licence(s)Previous site experience with knowledge of railway signalling, including level crossingsCompleted a recognised railway signalling training scheme (e.g., apprenticeship or graduate programme)Strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with a flexible, can-do attitudeAble to work well within a team as well as independentlyFit and able to work trackside and hold valid PTS certificationStrong time management and organisational skillsWhy Join This Team?Our client offers a supportive and professional working environment where you will develop your skills and career in rail signalling engineering.
