They will have a wide and varied remit making full use of their experience and skills as a Site Engineer. This role will be wide-ranging and varied with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow within the department.ResponsibilitiesProvision of setting out and dimensional checking of the works using total stations / robotics and levelling equipmentMaintaining as built drawings of the works as the project build progressesResponsible for following and implementing McLaughlin and Harvey procedures, inspections and formsEnsure activities are undertaken in compliance with McLaughlin and Harvey SHEQ policies and proceduresEnsure subcontractors, designers, clients, staff and visitors are inducted and approved risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in placeBuild strong relationships with management and supply chainRecord, submit and monitor Non-conformance Reports (NCR) and maintain the NCR registerEnsure drawings, specifications and other contract documents are kept up to dateWith the assistance of the site agent, develop short term look ahead programmes in collaboration with the supply chainProduce weekly / monthly progress reports, as appropriateWorking with our commercial teams, ensure accurate daily records are maintained and communicated for labour, materials and plant, including Sub-contractorsWhat We’re Looking ForQualificationsBA (Hons) in Civil Engineering or equivalentExperienceExcellent technical knowledge of Civil Engineering and best practicesProven experience in a Site Engineer roleProficiency in AutoCAD is desirableThe successful candidate will hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel and work throughout the UK.How to Apply:If you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values your expertise and innovation, we’d love to hear from you!
