Freelance Site engineer (Highways)
Night Shift

Duration: 4 Weeks
£400 per shift

I am looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading highways contractor on a night shift resurfacing scheme in Leeds. The project involves plaining off and resurfacing works, and we’re seeking someone confident in delivering high-quality engineering support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
•Setting out for resurfacing and associated highway works
• Carrying out quality checks and record keeping
• Working closely with the site management and surfacing teams
• Ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and to specification
• Daily reporting and as-built documentation

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways resurfacing or civil engineering schemes
• Proficient in setting out using GPS and total station equipment
• Valid CSCS card
• SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
• Flexibility to work night shifts
