Site Engineer – Piling

Salary: £26k - £28k
Location: Trowbridge
Regions: London, South East, Surrey

A specialist Civil Piling Contractor with a £200 million yearly turnover is seeking a Site Engineer to assist in the day-to-day running of the South West piling department, including design, estimating, planning, procurement, client liaison, and assisting with day-to-day technical issues. Duties will be reviewed and expanded over time in line with the candidate’s development and career progression.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pile Design
• Estimating
• Reviewing enquiries and printing documents
• Carrying out site visits
• Liaison with clients
• Attending meetings with clients
• Preparation of designs for construction issue
• Ensure compliance with QA procedures, Health & Safety, and statutory requirements
• Liaison with other members of staff and departments
• Handover of projects and assisting the operation team
• Assistance with restricted access projects
