We are currently recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to join a long-term development in Bristol, comprising large-scale residential and commercial elements, including reinforced concrete frame structures.

This is a key opportunity to be part of a major programme of works for at least 12 months, working with a well-regarded RC frame contractor delivering critical stages of a high-value project.

Role Overview:

You’ll be responsible for setting out and surveying across multiple stages of the build, working closely with the Contracts Manager and site teams to ensure all construction activity is carried out accurately and to programme.

Responsibilities:

Setting out for RC frames, foundations, drainage, infrastructure and superstructure

*

Surveying and maintaining control of site levels and dimensions

*

Producing and updating as-built records and QA documentation

*

Liaising with Contracts Manager and subcontractors

*

Ensuring work is carried out safely and in accordance with design

Requirements:

*

Proven experience on RC frame, residential or commercial developments

*

Must have own equipment (total station, laptop with AutoCAD, etc.)

*

Strong knowledge of setting out and survey techniques

*

CSCS card – essential

*

Ability to work independently and report effectively
