RTL Group are seeking a competent and proactive Site Engineer to join an earthworks and civils project based in Doncaster. The role is an 8-month contract, perfect for someone experienced in managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring project specifications and deadlines are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate earthworks and civil engineering activities on site

Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and health & safety regulations

*

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams

*

Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and update progress documentation

*

Assist with risk assessments and method statements

*

Support problem-solving and efficient site operations

Requirements:

Proven site engineering experience in earthworks and civils projects

*

Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety standards

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

*

Good communication and organisational skills

*

CSCS card and relevant qualifications

*

Available for the full 8-month contract period
