Key responsibilities for a Setting Out Engineer: Do the initial setting out on site Be responsible for engineering aspects on site Have inputs and a say in the site safety Managing of Sub contractors Monitor the engineering team to ensure quality is met Have input where required during site meetings Takes offs and management of bulk orders A successful Setting Out Engineer will be able to demonstrate: An Engineering Degree or equivalent Good all round knowledge of multiple processes 2-3 Years experience in an engineering background Good working knowledge of AutoCAD A high level of construction knowledge (ie. Earthworks, Infrastructure, 278 works etc) Ambition, and pride in the work that you are involved in.
