Site Engineer – Refurbishment Project – Sheffield Location: Sheffield Duration: 34 Weeks Day Rate: £300 Start Date: 14/09/2025 Footprint Recruitment is working in partnership with a key client to recruit a Site Engineer for a refurbishment project located in Sheffield . This is a 34-week contract, and ideally, we are seeking candidates based locally or within a commutable distance. Requirements: Previous experience on refurbishment or structural alteration projects Strong setting out and surveying skills Proficient with instruments (e.g. Total Station, AutoCAD) Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure works are carried out accurately Strong understanding of site safety and quality standards Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/Degree) CSCS card (essential) SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred but not essential) Responsibilities: Setting out for structural and groundworks including: Steel columns and beams Foundations Drainage works Concrete slabs and upper floor concreting Coordinating with the Site Manager and subcontractors Monitoring and reporting on quality assurance and comp...
