Site Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a Site Maintenance Engineer for our client who are manufactures of 350 different food and drink products based in Cardiff (CF24)
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Working as part of a team of engineers you will work alongside the Engineering Shift Team Leader to provide planned and reactive maintenance on the production lines and plant equipment. This role will allow you to develop your innovation and technical skills to implement permanent fixes underpinning high performance. You will be working with mechanical and electrical issues and fault finding through mainly Siemens PLC
SALARY: Base Salary: £35,024.67 Shift Allowance: £10,507.40 Contractual Overtime: £3,414.90 (this doesn't mean you have to work overtime this is just making up for the short fall sometimes as you work blocks of 2s & 3s) Total: £48,900
WORKING HOURS: This is a rotating shift pattern - 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off doing 6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM
Please note for this position you must have good experience within Engineering ideally Electrically biased with mechanical knowledge and with relevant qualifications to match.
