Title: Platform Observability Engineer (junior & senior levels considered)

Client: Quant Fund – Global collaborative firm run by passionate Computer Scientists

Salary: Up to £150,000 Starting Base + Exceptional bonus/benefits package

Location: London, Liverpool Street (Hybrid/Remote)

This firm is a dynamic global quant fund building cutting-edge systems from a London skyscraper. You will create robust systems and drive design in a DevOps environment. Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining observability platforms, developing monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions for comprehensive system visibility, owning platforms, collaborating with stakeholders, and refining observability tools and processes to maximize efficiency (Full spec available).

Successful candidate attributes:

• Experience with observability tools such as VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Vector, ELK, Alertmanager
• Experience with Linux
• Strong automation and scripting skills in Python
• A STEM Degree
• A proactive personality with a desire to learn and use new technology
• (Nice to have) Experience in a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank, or Financial Tech
• (Nice to have) Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
