What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing, creating, and delivering technical infrastructure code or services to improve the performance of customer-facing applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Taking responsibility for the stability and security of systems
• Communicating work status regularly to superiors
• Contributing to upgrades and standards for large-scale distributed systems
• Planning and demand forecasting, system tuning, and software performance analysis
• Defining best processes for the timely delivery of projects

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• Moderate experience in virtualization technologies like VMWare, OpenStack, Xen
• Knowledge of containerization (basic level)
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OPC
• Adept at Kafka, Cassandra, Apache Spark, HDFS
• Monitoring experience with Prometheus, Nagios, Icinga
• Experience with logging tools like Splunk or ELK stack
• Handling configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
• Comprehensive experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse, GoCD, GitLab)
• Entry-level knowledge of networking, including load balancing, routing, and switching
• Good command of Python, Bash, Go, Java
• Basic knowledge of databases (entry-level)
• Prior experience in system administration tasks such as patching and upgrading
