Site Reliability Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Kubernetes - HashiCorp - 12 month contract - Glasgow Hybrid (3 days onsite) I have an immediate opportunity for an SRE / Google Cloud Consultant on a major GCP implementation programme for our client in central Glasgow. Flexibility to work 3 days onsite is expected. In particular, you will be joining a multi-location engineering squad responsible for developing and supporting their secure Vault services. In this role, you will be designing and improving systems, streamlining operational processes, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for the business. Responsibilities: Deliver and support Vault services in a Google Cloud environment. Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to improve service performance, automation, and observability. Contribute to service onboarding, integration with existing platforms, and compliance with architectural standards. Take part in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practice. Share knowledge and expertise through documentation, presentations, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Participate in the on-call rota, responding to operational incidents where required.
