We’re looking for an experienced GEO Payload Hardware Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of advanced satellite telecommunication payloads. This is a chance to work at the cutting edge of space technology, contributing to innovative solutions for high-reliability applications in orbit.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop FPGA/ASIC-based GEO satellite payloads
* Lead hardware development throughout the full product lifecycle—from specification and design through to testing and validation
* Undertake detailed circuit design including schematic capture, component selection, and electronic simulation
* Produce engineering analysis and documentation (Derating, Worst Case, Reliability, Radiation, EMI/EMC Analysis, FMECA, Power Budget)
* Support hardware/software/system integration, test, validation, and qualification
* Direct in-house and third-party PCB layout design teams
* Deliver both prototype and production-quality manufacturing packages
Experience
* Strong commercial experience in hardware product design within the space industry
* Expertise in high-speed digital design and SerDes interconnects
* Strong understanding of LEO/GEO communications payloads
* Proven experience designing complex, high-speed circuits on high-density, multi-layer (10+) PCBs
