We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our growing team as a Soft-Fix Gas Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:To achieve a first-time soft fix, when possible, over the phoneAccurately record the results of the soft-fixTo minimise costs by ordering parts for first-time fixTo maintain customer satisfactionScrutinize incoming work for possible soft fixes that could be carried outProvide tablet support and training to field engineersProvide technical support and training for office staffReport on final figures at month end for soft-fix jobsCarry out soft-fix training/introduction to heating systems and components for office staffCarry out basic training for field engineers (job stock and tablet usage)Ensure that your actions put the safety of other employees and or residents firstProactively seek to improve Customer Service and processWorking Hours & ScheduleThis role involves flexible shift work across five days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, based on your availability, there will be a fair and balanced rotation.Shift times: 10am-6pmThe successful candidate will haveValid ACS & other relevant gas qualificationsExperience within Social HousingExtensive experience working in the field within Domestic GasExperience delivering high levels of customer serviceThe ability to work with a diverse customer baseMust be available to work 2 weekends per month (or equivalent with time off in lieu)What we can offer youSalary exchange pensionEmployee assistance programme28 days annual leave including bank holidays, rising by one day with each full year of service (max five additional)Enhanced family leave (dependent on length of service)Sureserve is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
