About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Perspectum and work closely with our Engineering team to help shape the design of cutting-edge software solutions that meet both business and regulatory demands. Key duties include:

\n Combining your technical understanding with problem solving skills to bridge the gap between business objectives and engineering delivery \n

Working between teams across Perspectum to identify, refine, design and deliver technical solutions \n

Analyse solutions post-delivery to ensure they align with long term aims \n

This is not a software developer position. This role’s primary responsibility is to understand technical requirements, and to communicate and relationship build across the business to ensure the design meets regulatory standards and business needs.

\n Loves breaking down complexity into clear and manageable documentation \n

Enjoys gathering input from users and stakeholders to shape software \n

Feels comfortable facilitating conversations between engineers, clinicians, and researchers \n

About You

Whether you have a background in Computer Engineering, Science, Life Sciences or another STEM field, what matters most is your ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and solve problems collaboratively. With a technical mindset, you will confidently bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business to ensure Perspectum consistently delivers effective, fit for purpose engineering solutions.

We are ideally looking for someone who:

\n Is degree educated or has equivalent work experience \n

Can confidently engage with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, communicating clearly with both parties \n

Is solutions orientated and confident in their decision making to drive technical projects forward. \n

Has an awareness or understanding of AWS, Python, Java or C++ etc (you do not need to be an expert!) \n

Is eager to gain experience or understanding for regulatory requirements relating to medical devices \n

Due to the highly collaborate and interactive nature of this opportunity, we require the successful individual to be in our Oxford office 4 to 5 days per week.
