About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Development Engineer (C# or C++) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to contribute to the development of robust software solutions, support junior engineers, and participate in "+"blue-sky" projects for professional growth and technology exploration. You will have the opportunity to lead larger epics, engage in architectural design, and play a significant role in shaping our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Owners, Lead Engineers, and Development Managers to design and develop key features, continuously enhancing both customer and developer experiences.
- Build a thorough understanding of the product domain to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
- Provide reliable estimates, identify risks, and offer clear justifications for approaches.
- Conduct feasibility studies on new technologies and approaches with designated blue-sky time to advance skills and stay informed on industry trends.
- Ensure solutions meet company, market, and regulatory standards; deliver on schedule and address delays proactively.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the broader development team, engage in team meetings, and assist with bug investigation and resolution for external customers.
- Adhere to Health and Safety protocols and ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards; follow company policies and share weekly progress reports.
