Overview

Software & Electronics Development Engineer for a MedTech company developing cutting-edge neuromodulation wearable devices. The role focuses on electronics and software as the product moves from development into manufacturing and scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Support the transfer of the product from design to manufacturing, addressing electronics, firmware, and production instrumentation issues
• Maintain, adapt, and optimise existing firmware within regulatory requirements (IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
• Lead electronics design, schematic capture, and PCB layout (Altium)
• Develop LabVIEW applications for test and instrumentation
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring quality and performance at scale

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in electronics design, PCB layout (Altium), and embedded systems development
• Strong C/C++ skills for embedded systems; familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers
• Experience with LabVIEW for instrumentation and testing
• Track record of taking products from development through to production, ideally in a regulated environment (MedTech, aerospace, automotive)
