Job Description: What you'll be doing. Data and Software Engineering (DSE) is responsible for designing and building applications. Engineering Excellence's mission is to drive professionalism, efficiency, intelligence, security, and compliance and broader organization. As Software Engineer - Excellence and Assurance, you will be responsible to develop data platform for the data and software engineering which establishes oversights of the engineering lifecycle deficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain an Analytics and Insights database using Postgres DB.
  • Understand and analyze datasets to ensure accurate and efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Provide support for application development teams including documenting business processes.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
  • Integrate Augmented AI technologies to enhance data insights and analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the database lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.

Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of relevant software development experience, broadly ranging from front-end, back-end, cloud automation, and orchestration, with depth in one or both of front-end and back-end development.
  • Proficient in one or more Data Development technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
  • Skills in Master data management, Data analysis, visualization (Power BI) and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in back-end development using Python.
  • Proficient in Cloud Native Deployment with CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps) and serverless containers (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Experience in Agile methodology, applying architectural, design, and unit testing patterns with attention to code quality and standards.
  • Proficient in analytical and data insight, with hybrid skills across the underlying data landscape, tooling, software engineering products, workflows, analytics practices, and processes, plus visualization platforms and technologies to build and deliver interfaces and enable effective product uptake in the business.
