Job Description

We\u2019re looking for a skilled Android engineer to join our Consumer Onboarding team.

The Consumer Onboarding team is responsible for making our customer\u2019s first experience with Wise easy, simple and delightful. We do that by building systems and experiences that can scale onboarding across the world just like Wise does, while working with many different teams to welcome and introduce our customers to Wise\u2019s offering and how to use them to solve their cross currency needs.

Our team builds systems that onboard more than 1.3 million users a month - and as one of the engineers in the team, you\u2019ll play a fundamental role in shaping their experience with Wise.

We are looking for an Android engineer who can work closely with product, design and analytics to shape and build Wise\u2019s onboarding experience.

As an Android engineer, you will:

• Collaborate closely with product, design, analytics and other teams across the company to deliver impactful experiences to Wise\u2019s customers - as a cross functional team
• Take responsibility for the overall health and quality of the Android codebase that power Wise\u2019s onboarding experience
• Work closely with your lead to own Wise\u2019s Android onboarding product flows and architecture and help shape your team\u2019s technical roadmap
• Work with the wider Android Guild at Wise to maintain and evolve the Android codebase and ecosystem is clean, maintainable, and efficient to maintain application performance, responsiveness, load times, and stability.
