Software Engineer (C#) – Full-time, Permanent – Bristol. Join the Product & Tech team to drive the evolution of our B2C platform, delivering seamless, performant, and scalable user experiences that simplify healthcare and improve lives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient, stable and scalable software systems
- Work closely with Senior Engineers and Product Owners to deliver business value
- Champion HealthHero values and contribute to the continued success of the organisation
What you will bring
- Solid understanding of core C# language features, including OOP, collections, exception handling, and asynchronous programming – using .NET 8 & 9
- Cloud experience (Azure preferred; other major clouds welcome with knowledge transfer)
- Experience designing REST APIs and event-driven applications
- Experience in developing front-end applications with React
- Exposure to and knowledge of automated testing strategies
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate well with others, including pair-programming
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
Essential Skills
- Self-driven with a strong sense of mission
- Solid understanding of software development concepts and product design
- Experience in Agile software development processes
- Developed communication skills and ability to report progress and raise issues early
