Build responsibility and understanding of technical requirements such as capacity, security, maintainability, and other non-functional aspects.What will you be doing day-to-day?Collaborating on technical design and architectural decisions for new and existing systemsWriting clean, efficient, and scalable Java codeConducting and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledgeCreating and maintaining automated tests to ensure functionality and reduce regressionsWorking with CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy software quickly and reliablyTaking part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog groomingImplementing and integrating with a variety of internal and third-party systems as requiredWhat you’ll need:Experience of Java (Java 8 minimum)Experience of object-oriented programming (OOP)Experience of SQLExperience of RESTful API designExperience using version control (ideally Git)Experience working in an Agile methodologyFamiliarity with CI/CD and related toolingExperience of test automation tooling (such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium)Experience with Jira or a similar work tracking toolWhat do we offer you?At Gamma, we believe in work-life balance, which is why we offer 25 days of annual leave, plus an extra day off for your birthday.
