About Enterprise Architecture
Enterprise Architecture is an organization at American Express and it is a key enabler of the company’s technology strategy. The four pillars of Enterprise Architecture include:
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Design, build and manage enterprise platform and frameworks for Process Management, Case Management, Work Management for secure file transfers
- Designing, developing, and supporting shared technology services leveraged by the enterprise for secure file transfers
- Taking your place as a core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices
- Writing code and unit tests, working with User Interface, APIs design, development, database design, development and automation
- Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of engineering degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other equivalent technical discipline
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience in Process Management, Case Management, Work Management is a plus.
- Experience in Automations, AI / ML driving cost savings is a plus.
- Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives, and challenges and articulate solutions
- Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing large scale platforms with high resiliency, availability, and reliability.
- Strong experience in applications with high throughput and performance
- Experience with micro services architectures and service mesh technologies is preferred.

- Programming Languages and Frameworks – Hands on experience in some or all of the following is preferred: Java, React, gRPC, JSON, Redis, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Elastic Stack, Kafka, Spark

- Business Product Knowledge
