Your role involves creating business impact through your skills and contributions, utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications within Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundation Services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
  • Contribute to product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
  • Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
  • Support a team culture that values diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Formal training or certification on cloud software development concepts and proficient advanced experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on development practices such as Agile, Scrum, or DevOps
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, or Go)
  • Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices design
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code to efficiently manage cloud resources
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Practical cloud experience with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • AWS, Azure, or Google certification
  • Comfortable working in an environment where pairing and software teaming are common practices
  • Experience with Spec by Example to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and time zones to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Experience collaborating with architects to align on technical strategies and ensure architectural integrity
