This role is remote, with preference for candidates on the US East Coast or in the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesWork in a cross-functional team that spans the full domain of drug discoverySupport a software system that performs biomolecular simulationProvide software development support to the ML model life cycle, working in the design and development of:efficient and maintainable data pipelinesbenchmarking systems of modelsdeployments to AWS and use of Kubernetes (in collaboration with our cloud engineers)Collaborate on the creation, testing and maintenance of software systemCode review for pull requests in adjoining areasMaintenance of and mentorship in software best practices, including version control, testing and documentationCollaboration with ML scientists and others in the company to understand requirements for deployed modelsClear oral communication of work in meetings and company demos, at a level suited to the audienceQualificationsMinimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.Technical acumen to develop and maintain ML systems used by the ML team.Experience with ML systems that are cloud-based and frequently process TBs of dataExperience working with scientific computing/lab environments (e.g. has used or administered SLURM)Demonstrated competence and rigor in software developmentStrong python software skillsWorking knowledge of concepts in Chemistry and BiologyConversant with cloud computing; able to provide requirements to DevOps engineersAbout Iambic TherapeuticsIambic is a clinical-stage life-science and technology company developing novel medicines using its AI-driven discovery and development platform.
