The Role

You'll design and build automation frameworks, work closely with developers to integrate testing into CI/CD, and champion quality engineering across the product lifecycle. With tools like Playwright, Cypress, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, this role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills who wants to own the test automation strategy.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright / Cypress
• Develop automated tests in TypeScript / JavaScript
• Collaborate with developers to embed testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Ensure tests are reliable, scalable, and provide fast feedback
• Track and report quality metrics to stakeholders
• Contribute to defining quality standards and best practices across the team
• Investigate and resolve test failures, ensuring stability of releases

What you bring to the team

• Strong experience with automation frameworks (Playwright / Cypress preferred)
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Foundation knowledge in ISTQB or equivalent
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (TDD/BDD)
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
