Overview

We’re looking for a QA Engineer (Dev in Test) to join on a 6-month contract, starting immediately. You’ll be working on building a scalable, parallel test framework designed to be invoked by non-technical staff, enabling automation and supporting a repeatable greenfield architecture. This framework will be deployed into a serverless environment at cloud scale.

Location & Duration

Location: South Yorkshire | Hybrid | Fully Remote (UK-based only).

Duration: 6-Month Contract.

Start: ASAP.

Rate: £400–£450 per day. In Scope of IR35.

What You’ll Bring

• Solid experience with BDD (Cucumber / Gherkin)
• Background in serverless environments
• Experience with parallel test environments
• Skilled in test/data provisioning and teardown
• Deep understanding of test runners and test reporting
• Proven ability to elicit acceptance criteria
• Track record of championing test adoption
• BSc in Computer Science
