Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
  • 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).
  • Experience in using common machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Jax.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 3 years of experience with building time series or ML algorithms in a production setting.
  • 3 years of experience as an engineer (research engineer or software engineer) in industry.
  • Experience with Generative AI Agents.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping.
  • Experience with sensor fusion.

This approach allows us to help users understand their many measurements and provides them with truly personalized coaching experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and deploy high-quality algorithms and ML models for health and fitness domain.
  • Develop data and training pipelines for leveraging large amounts of longitudinal data for model training and quality improvement.
  • Propose ideas and develop strategies for high-quality data collection for the health and fitness domain.
  • Design, build and deploy high-performance and high-quality ML models and sensor algorithms for activity recognition.
  • Design prototype models to test new ideas and coordinate with partner teams to deploy models to the production stack.
