About the Opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for both infrastructure and application layers.
- Lead and contribute to the testing strategy across multiple Agile squads and product teams.
- Develop and execute functional, non-functional, performance, and security test cases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation and rapid feedback.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and integration leads to ensure full test coverage.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, accessibility (WCAG), and government security policies.
- Create and maintain documentation within the test automation codebase.
- Share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices across teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Tech Stack You'll be Using:
- Languages & Frameworks: Java (11/17/21), Spring Boot, Python, Bash, JavaScriptTesting Tools: Cucumber, REST Assured, Wiremock, Selenium, Terratest, InSpec, Kitchen
- Infrastructure & IaC: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (primary), Azure or GCP (desirable)
- CI/CD: GitLab CI
- Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana
- Accessibility: WCAG standards
Experience with these technologies is essential, but we’re also open to candidates who are eager to learn and grow. If you’re strong in some areas and keen to develop in others, we’d still love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–4 years of experience in software or infrastructure test automation.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites for cloud-native environments.
- Familiarity with microservices, API testing, and front-end testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile, cross-functional teams.
- Passion for clean, scalable, and secure systems.
- Eligible for SC Security Clearance.
