We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our clients Project Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work across product design, development, and delivery, helping to bring creative technical solutions into real-world applications.

What you’ll be doing:

• Acting as the primary technical support for projects.
• Providing input on design concepts, quotations, and project opportunities.
• Working with electronics, power systems, and wiring harnesses.
• Designing in 3D CAD (Solid Edge preferred), creating prototypes, and testing designs.
• Selecting materials and applying knowledge of mechanical and production processes.
• Supporting manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Carrying out quality checks such as FAI and PPAP to meet compliance standards.
• Maintaining organised records and structured project documentation.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong understanding of electronics, power distribution, and system design.
• Experience with 3D CAD software
• Knowledge of cabling, wiring harnesses, and schematic interpretation.
• Hands-on prototyping and problem-solving skills.

Desirable skills:

• Experience in mechanical design and material selection.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (e.g., injection moulding, laser cutting).
• Creative approach to engineering challenges.
• Previous work within regulated industries.
